It is good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end.

For this room, I combined some popular quotes with lines out of a Dr. Suess book, so that the writing would continuosly flow around the room.

Such a fun room. I've also seen a great idea where a road is painted around the child's room. It is painted with chalkbaord paint, so that as the child gets older he can use the dashed line in the middle of the road to practice writing letters with a midline. Such a great idea! This mother wasn't up for chalk in her child's room (although you can purchase dustless chalk), but in the future I hope to find a client who is up for the idea!

I wrote the child's name on one truck, and put his birthdate as the numbers on one of the racecars.

Little boy's rooms can be so imaginative. Trains choo chooing around the room, airplanes flying over head, the ideas are endless!!!

Thank thee God from whom all goodness springs.

The saying goes, "A house is built with walls and beams. A Home is made with love and dreams."
Here is a very affordable way to put a personal touch on your home furnishings.

For this table, I wrote a blessing along the edge. "Thank thee God from whom all goodness springs, feed our souls with good and joyful things." Due to the size of the table, the original table grace was shortened to these two lines.
The ideas for table graces is endless. I have painted another one that read, "We love our bread, we love our butter, but most of all, we love each other." It then had each family member's name around it.

Adding the Finishing touches

This little girl's room was as sweet as can be. The mother just wanted to add some finishing touches to pull all of the pieces together.

I made a picture that read, "When we lay you down to sleep, we count our blessings, mot our sheep." I painted labels on toy boxes and added some decorative touches to hanging heart mobiles.

Welcome to my Garden

To coordinate with this little girl's Garden theme, I painted bright, cheerful flowers blooming around the room.

The big daisy was my favorite part. You can't help but smile when you look at it. It's painted right in front of the little girl's bed. It was really fun for me to paint, because I know that Happy Daisy will be the first thing she sees every morning when she wakes up!

Poodle in Paris

This child had a "Poodle in Paris" themed room. I painted a poodle on a scooter to coordinate with her bedding. It would also be fun to add French phrases around the room, such as, Belle fille: Beautiful girl!
